As I read Homefront’s script, I knew I needed to tell this story; I was moved in six pages. It is a simple narrative of a fighting couple, something that has been made many times before, but in a completely innovative way. This is not a story of heroes and villains, but a story of love lost and the grief that comes with this knowledge. Both characters are immersed in their grievances and have lost sight of what truly matters: their home has become unsafe for their child. I was hooked by this story of love, in all it entails.
