Years ago, Sky abandoned his old life and retreated off the grid, living out of his car while working for the parks. He’s settled into a slower-paced rhythm with a makeshift family of fellow wanderers - until Hannah, his estranged childhood friend, asks to visit. Now pursuing her PhD, she wants to study Sky and his “alternative lifestyle” for her thesis. For the promise of a $1,000 stipend, Sky reluctantly agrees.
