I chose to tell this specific story because of the things that were happening around me where I lived. I live in Pomona, California. It is an area where a lot of hispanics reside in. Due to ICE being more prevalent in today's world, many businesses, restaurants, and family owned stores were being shut down. I made this film because I want to do my part in crafting a story that felt personal to me, but also personal to others as well.
