HEAVENS is a symbolic social drama inspired by the tragic reality of India’s missing girls — lives erased at birth simply because they were born female.

When justice fails on Earth, the film imagines a world which is Heaven where true justice exists. In this realm, the victims (the missing girls) rise as “Yamadutas,” agents of the God of Death, reclaiming the justice denied to them in life.
