This short explores the experiences shared by my childhood friend group after the passing of our closest friend, Joel. Shot in our hometown of Orangevale, it's an abstract account of our friendship in the style of the zany 80's genre films we grew up watching. It's a meditation on how film and home video can distill these memories long after someone has passed on. It's a film that's deeply personal in every way, even the plate images of the stars in the film were shot at the family cabin where our friend was laid to rest.
