Five Stages of Friendship is a story that explores the dynamics of friendship and adulthood in the modern South African context. As the filmmaker, creating this story was a form of personal expression, allowing me to tell what it truly means to navigate adulthood while preserving one of the most sacred parts of the lived experience: friendship. Through our film, we delve into what the concept of friendship truly means in the face of adversity and when we experience the growing pains of life.
