About this submission

As her memories begin to fade, a woman in the autumn of her life spends her days with a teenage girl—a reflection of her younger self—whose profound presence forces her to confront her memories and, ultimately, her sense of self. This series of vignettes explores memory loss, identity, and the cycles of life, weaving together the stories of an elderly woman nearing the end of her life and a young girl just beginning hers.
