About this Video
Tormented by the childhood death of his younger sister and his inability to comfort her as she passed, Elijah builds and isolates himself behind brick walls. He spends his life unable to connect with others, hiding away in his shame and guilt. As he grows older and his walls close in, he must confront his past or face an eternity alone.
The film invites the audience to put together the story themselves by borrowing it’s storytelling from the German Expressionists of the 1920’s; focusing on the use of atmosphere, metaphor, soundscape and the actor’s physical performances, and avoiding easy answers.
