About this submission

Drawing from his inspiration from the work of horror greats, 9 year old HW Torn set out to make a soundscape that was haunting and was crafted to fit the arc of the film's scene and enhance the tension.

He included accents that ride the line between music and sound design that felt attuned to the premise of the film and that could exist within the film's world.

Elijah focused on adding some hyper-real foley and mixed the elements to create a cohesive sound. He also made sure to boost certain frequencies to make the hair stand up on the viewer's neck and add to the anticipation and levels of distress.

They both hope you're terrified!
