Awakening in a shifting nightmare, Chicano teen Luis Aguilar is transported through multiple realities, where he is forced to relive discriminations his Mexican immigrant parents have lived through. From witnessing his father working as a farmworker, his mother's incosolable distress, to reliving the night his parents got taken away, Luis takes us through his early childhood met with suffering and fear - all while being pursued by a mysterious figure.
