I have always wanted to create comedy movies, having grown up watching movies like Hot Rod and Gentleman Broncos. Drawing from my experience growing up surrounded by several kids in white suburbia chasing their dreams of soundlcoud stardom, this story of a rappers funeral and his chaotic family came to be. The film is also inject with some special Kiwi humor with the help of some incredible actors I was lucky to meet while studying in Aotearoa New Zealand.
