About this Video
I chose to tell the story of Jiyalal, a retired postman, to highlight the growing social isolation in our fast-paced world. Having spent his life connecting others through letters, his own death goes unnoticed by a neighborhood busy with digital lives. Coming from a community-driven background in Bihar, I am fascinated by the irony of being connected online but disconnected in reality. I wanted to explore the 'unopened doors' of empathy and show that sometimes, the most important messages are the ones we fail to hear from our own neighbors
