Oftentimes narratives of people from my community show them with their oppressive battles. While these stories are imperative, there is not just one plot to choose from. This short centers around the dynamic of two black men, given their employment situation in Italy. Rather than focusing on their circumstance, I shift the story to their relationship, which is a shift in the direction I want to see in future black cinema. There has been an increase in Africans heading to Europe for a better life only to find that the living there is against foreigners with African descent.
