In this video from the 2020 Directors Lab, Feature Film Program Deputy Director Ilyse McKimmie leads a discussion with veteran Casting Directors Maribeth Fox, Jodi Angstreich, Richard Hicks, and Eyde Belasco. They explain what draws them to a project, the right time to bring a casting director on board, and the search process. They also provide insights into discovering new talent and collaborating with directors to find the best fit for a role.
