This past year, I was undergoing the process of changing my citizenship from Russian to Latvian due to geopolitical reasons. As a result, I was stateless for around a month. This film is a self-portrait that expresses what it feels like to not belong to any country. It juxtaposes the absurd complexity of the process with my personal thoughts and feelings about what it means to belong to Russia and Latvia, both as political and cultural entities.
