About this Video
With Blende, I deliberately turned to horror to formally reframe a socially urgent issue: the latent danger women experience in dating. I’m interested in the tension between a modern belief in equality and the persistent “ghosts of the past.” Horror provides a powerful language for this—externalizing uncertainty, making diffuse fear physical, and translating psychological tension into spatial and visual threat.
