I chose to tell this story because too often, the struggles of marginalized individuals seeking love and belonging are overlooked or misrepresented. Black Dissonance follows Amon, a young soul searching for connection in an unfamiliar world, only to find that love can sometimes become a cage. Through the lens of young, marginalized voices, the film unveils the quiet storms beneath the surface of intimacy—exploring the fine line between desire, trust, and self-discovery. By shedding light on these hidden narratives, I hope to spark conversations about the complexities of love, identity, and the spaces we call home.
