When Jersey girl, Sharilyn Kyle, entered the UCLA screenwriting program, she had west coast dreams of making real-life, and not computer simulated, connections in the industry. Then COVID kicked her out of LA and back east where an unexpected senior caretaking job by day and writing by night became her life. Eking out a script in between hygiene sessions sufficed for graduation though as she earned recognition as a Diverse Woman in Media Emerging Content Creator. She hopes to explore this award as film producing entices her.
