BECOME is a reflection of how it can feel at times to create in this over whelming, fast paced and commercialized industry. This film presents how a creative job can oftentimes feel bare to the artist you want to be through the lens of a young tattoo apprentice left alone to close the shop. Rachel Cheong, a Singapore based Jewellery Designer and I shared meaningful stories and experiences with the industry as female artists, where I developed this concept to bring to life through a short film format.
