I want to tell this story because silence around child abuse—especially within traditional Latin American families—allows it to persist. In Peru, most cases occur within the victim’s close circle, yet society often blames children while protecting abusers. Through a thriller set inside an ordinary home, I reveal how spaces meant to be safe can become sites of fear. The film confronts denial and complicity, reminding us that some events are buried until we doubt they happened. It affirms survivors: what you lived was real, and your pain, rage, and vulnerability are valid.
