Synopsis: After a sudden injury derails her ability to paint, a devoted artist must adapt to using her non-dominant hand, forcing her to change her style. I chose this film because it is about how setbacks can become catalysts for growth. Cara’s injury pushes her away from perfection and toward freedom through trying a different art style. As I continue through my master’s program at USC, I’m excited to see how my storytelling evolves. With this story, I aimed to challenge myself to represent it visually and use minimal dialogue to emphasize my character's internal feelings.
