All Star * is a short adapting the opening sequence of another film I am currently working on, based on my experience connecting with different aspects of my world during the last months of high school. School was a time of my life where for one reason or another I never felt like I was valued. Movies have always been how I made sense of the world, and was an environment that I found validation in. I chose this short because it is a reflection of those experiences through the medium that has always helped me to validate myself.
