About this Video
In the nineteenth century, while a young girl is walking in the countryside, an unexpected encounter with a familiar face unearths a secret.
Albura is both a film and a physical piece. Each frame was printed manually on sensitized paper exposed to the sun. With an image that is printed not only on paper but in the intimate experience as a spectator, Albura pressures us to reflect on the collective responsibility we have as a society in the protection of our most vulnerable.
