About this Video
I came across Osip Mandelstam’s poem “Tennis.” In the first quatrain, it describes a ball flying back and forth among “ugly” dachas. This made me want to imagine the journey of an object independently of what we do with it, as if it were autonomous and free from human actions. And since I was at a dacha, surrounded by apple trees, the idea came to me to compare these two objects and play with the mystical connection between them.
