About this submission

A Lovely Sight is a short film that explores the moment two people realize they have fallen in love. Combining the saying "Love at first sight" and "the eyes are the window to the soul", but rewriting it into a story of a building of love and a shared moment.


Creator
Currently working as a social media intern with the indie feature film "The Weekend on Cape Cod When Everything Changed" by Dalia Rooni and directed by Lauren Noll. Also works as a production assistant on various films and commercial projects in the New England Area. Other recent works have been self-produced and student-produced short films. On these various short films, she has worked as lead writer and co-writer, director, assistant director, director of photography, assistant camera operator, grip, production manager, storyboard artist, lead editor, assistant editor, and VFX artist. The reason I became a filmmaker is because I want to tell stories that make people feel, whether that be a feeling of being seen/heard or helping people to imagine and escape reality even for a few minutes. I also want to be a voice for change and bring much-needed representation into the film community for the many different communities I’m a part of (ex. mixed/multicultural, MENA, Muslim).
