Mary Kolonia

I am Writer/ Director & Producer with extended experience in Audiovisual sector, Entertainment and Communications. I have worked in various roles within the Film & Advertising Industry (Marketing, Acquisitions, Development, Exhibition) for Village Roadshow, Warner Roadshow, Prooptiki, Attika , Piece of Cake.) I have lived and worked for many years in Indonesia (GREY INDONESIA and Executive Director - 1st International Arts Festival JakART) and in Mexico (Writer/ Communications .) I have published a novel, short stories, poems, songs in collections and contributed in TV series, as a scriptwriter. In 2020 I received the 2d Award & Award for Emotional Expression, 1st National Lyrics Competition (Scriptwriters Guild of Greece .) I am interested to produce films with a strong human centric theme exploring the effect of family and society in defining personal boundaries. I am open for co-producing projects that explore such issues. Currently, my first short film “An Armchair on the Pavement” (Writer/Director) produced by ARGONAUTS S.A. is selected by “Microfilm” 2022(ERT)and is in pre- production. I am writing the script for my first feature film.
