Jonathan De Guzman II is a Filipino American, writer and director, from San Diego, based in Los Angeles. Inspired by Gen Z culture and my community, he aims to tell comedic and witty stories that spotlight cool and relatable AANHPI individuals. His projects have screened at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, NFFTY, and San Diego Filipino Film Festival. His thesis short film, The Perfect Post, won Best Picture and Best Screenplay from UC Irvine’s film festival. Outside of directing, he works as a stylist. He's also obsessed with Tyler the Creator and Charli XCX.
