Los Angeles, California, United States
I'm an Iranian-American screenwriter and actress living in Los Angeles. My family and I moved here after living in Germany. Upon graduating from UCSB with a BA in Political Science, I dove into the world of my true passion, film. My interest in screenwriting developed while working as a gatekeeper at an independent film production company. I've since moved on and focused solely on my writing. This brought me to enter my first script, "Foreign Exchange", a psychological thriller, and my dramatic feature "Last of the Flock", into the Austin Film Festival. The scripts advanced to the second round and in turn, the connections I made lead to more indie projects currently in the works. My goal is to create projects that make an impact on society and allow us to look at life in a more meaningful way.
