Kelly Asher

Kelly participated in The Writers Guild Initiative’s 2021 Helen Deutsch Writing Workshop where she met her writing mentors, James V. Hart and Mel Nieves. She is a Quarterfinalist in the 2022 Killer Shorts Horror Short Screenplay Competition and currently a Quarterfinalist in the 2022 The Script Lab TSL Free Screenplay Contest. She loves all things horror and enjoys writing character-driven stories that elevate the voices of the underserved. Kelly’s continual need to overcome adversity allows her the opportunity to write from a truly unique perspective. Kelly would love to sell an original screenplay and be involved in its production and acquire representation.
