Jillian grew up in West Virginia and received her BA in Digital Filmmaking at Shepherd University. In 2021, she moved to New York City to pursue her Masters in Directing at the School of Visual Arts. During her time there, her love for horror and coming-of-age films was one of her inspirations to write and direct the short film “Killing Myself” where she used dark undertones while taking a light-hearted approach. She hopes to continue her career as a writer and director and showcase meaningful stories through film.
