Daryl Paris Bright

Hailing from the DMV Metro area, Daryl is a performing artist, writer, and producer, who is now based in New York City. She is a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Carnegie Mellon University where she majored in Drama. Daryl developed a passion for devised original work and Drama for Social Change when she collaborated with Dramatic Adventure Theatre, performing original work in Prague, Bratislava, and Tanzania. She is now co-CEO of the femme-millennial production company, CNT Productions: a company dedicated to creating an unfiltered platform for the nuanced stories of under-represented voices. Daryl has helped write, produce, and star in CNT's sketch comedy series, Not Your Type, as well as their choreopoem series, OPEN. Recognitions include: AT&T's Film Awards, the American Black Film Festival, and HBO's Inspiration Room.
