An award-winning producer, actor and LGBTQ+ activist, Bowie McFadden (They/He) creates with an aim to activate new ways of thinking, using universal metaphors to bridge & break binary barriers. GEN Z (producer, actor, writer) , Bowie's most recent work, highlights the real-world challenges of being nonbinary by drawing comparisons to that of the gaming world. The film was a Grand Jury Winner at the 2020 Outfest Fusion Film, Music, Story & Culture Festival and is slated to screen at the 2020 Outfest LA LGBTQ Film Festival in July. ​ Other completed film works include IT ME (producer, actor; Outfest Fusion 2020 premiere), THEY (producer, actor, writer; a collaboration with, I DEFINE ME (producer, actor, writer; a collaboration with THE CURSE (producer; Outfest LA 2018 premiere), ONE OF THE FLOWERS (producer, actor, writer) & INTO THE BLACK (actor). ​ Written works in development include scripted series, HU|MAN, which was selected for a live-script reading with Now>Ever, Rain Valdez's production company in October of 2019. ​ A student of the ActNOW LGBTQ+ Acting Classes since January of 2019, Bowie has had the honor of training with Emmy Nominated Actress, Rain Valdez (Why Women Kill, Razor Tongue), Jamie Clayton (Sense8) & Cassandra James (General Hospital).
