Sophia G Savage

Los Angeles, CA, USA

Sophia was raised by wolves in the woods of New Hampshire, and homeschooled by an environmentalist and a teacher. Sophia has studied dance and acting since age 5 and and graduated with top honors from Smith College where she double majored in Film & Theater. Sophia has lived and worked abroad in New Zealand, Nepal and France while making Los Angeles a home base since 2009. While continuing her acting training, she was a staff writer at Indiewire for four years, and has written, directed and produced over five short films that have played the festival circuit, including award-winning narratives EMPYREAN and TOTAL MOON. After making her latest short (VICTIM NUMBER), a psychological tear down of Hollywood’s corrosive misogyny, she attended Werner Herzog’s Rogue Film School and now has three features in development, a dramatic thriller, a dystopian sci-fi, and an eco-terrorism adventure.
