Ron Hervey was born in a small copper mining town on the Arizona side of the Mexican border named Bisbee. When he was 13 years old, his family moved to Irving, Texas where he graduated from Irving High School. After serving time with the United States Marine Corps, Ron worked jobs in several fields, finally landing at a public library where he has worked for the past 20 years. He now works and lives in Paris, Texas. Ron has written all of his life, starting when he recited his version of Frankenstein to his mother when he was six years old. He has pinned several short stories and a couple of novels are in the works. For the last three years, Ron has turned his attention to screenwriting. His short screenplays “Broken Dreams" and "Swamp Witch" are currently making the film festival screenplay competition circuit.
