Originally from Denver, Jeremy Palmer spent several years acting, directing, and writing for the award-winning Phamaly Theatre Company before moving to Los Angeles with his wife and two dogs to pursue an MFA degree in screenwriting from USC, which he completed in May of 2017. He has written 10 features in the last 3 years, along with many shorts, webisodes, sketches, and TV pilot scripts. His work has also received numerous accolades and distinctions: his drama screenplay, Stumble Through, was awarded the Jay Roach Endowed Scholarship from USC in 2016, while his biopic, The Valley of Dry Bones, won the Sloan Screenwriting Grant in 2017 and the Tribeca Sloan Student Grand Jury Prize in 2018. Most recently, his feature, The Blue Baby, about Dr. Helen Taussig, founder of pediatric cardiology and a lifesaving surgery for infants, was a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Jeremy enjoys telling stories about outsiders courageously transcending barriers to accomplish the unthinkable. His goal is to write for film professionally, but he's open to all opportunities.
