Born & raised in Montclair, New Jersey, Chris Connolly began his career in New York's independent film industry, notably as Associate Producer on LOVERBOY (2005) directed by Kevin Bacon and Universal Pictures’ EMPIRE (2002). He then moved into producing commercial and branded content at Radical Media. And since 2010, Chris has worked with his wife Vivian at her Emmy-nominated visual effects house Phosphene. As a screenwriter, Chris was a finalist in the Feature Screenwriting Competition at the 2012 Austin Film Festival, a finalist in Showtime’s Tony Cox Screenplay Competition at the 2013 Nantucket Film Festival, and wrote on the National Geographic series YEAR MILLION (2017). His short film FALLING TO PIECES screened at over 30 film festivals and won 4 awards including Best Short Film. Chris lives in Brooklyn with his wife, son, and daughter.
