Hey there, it´s an honor for me to join the community. I´ve been living in Spain for 12 years, where I met my husband and partner in film projects Ricardo Castillo Castro from Nicaragua. We studied on the Bande a parte film school in Barcelona. He is the screenwriter and I´m the filmmaker. Our first documentary "Al quebrar la crisálida" has been awarded best documentary at the category new talent at the international film festival REC in Spain) in 2010. After numerous documentary and short film projects we focus on our first feature film project "My yesterday, your tomorrow", a historical drama based on the life of Edwin Castro Rodríguez, a Nicaraguan poet and freedom fighter, the mastermind behind the 1956 assassination of the dictator Anastasio Somoza García. We are going to shoot at the end of this year in Cuba and Nicaragua. As we are living now in Austria with our two kids, we are thrilled by the connection to the Balkans, which inspired me to write the treatment to our new project, a dystopian fairy tale about the loss of our collective memory and how the gypsies in the woods of Thrace are going to save us....
