Albert B Fernandez

West Hollywood, CA, USA

Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, my first experiences in entertainment were shaped by being on the set of Disney’s “Hannah Montana,” a music video for The Jonas Brothers, and performing stand up comedy at the age of 15 at The LA Improv. From Los Angeles, I moved to New York City where I became the first in my family to go to college, choosing to study Film and TV Production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. After working in Nickelodeon’s On Air Promotions department and Warner Brother’s DramaFever marketing team, I was selected for an internship at The White House. During my time in the Management and Administration Office, I competed in an internal speechwriting competition where I had the honor of introducing Vice President Joe Biden at a formal speaking engagement. After a year with the Obama Administration, I moved back to the West Coast and was featured in a Captain Morgan spot “#Under35POTUS,”and was selected as one of ten participants for the Producers Guild of America Power of Diversity Master Workshop. Shortly after, I was chosen to write for the 2018 CBS Diversity Sketch Showcase.
