About this submission
In our first episode of the ACT OF ISMS podcast, we explore a new definition of activism with two change-leaders breaking the mold of traditional activism and successfully bridging social divides. First, we spoke to James Joyce III about why we need to "get comfortable being uncomfortable" when it comes to talking about race. In this bonus episode, James (founder of Coffee with a Black Guy), takes us through what he calls his "racism story" to shed light on his experience as a black man in America. When we wrapped the interview, we thought that was it. But James had more to share - a part of his racism story that he's never shared before... until now.
It's a story that breaks through the color lines of the American experience, centering love, hope, and the healing power of radical compassion.
Project Status: Unmixed pilot.
