Growing up, I felt suffocated by other people’s comments, expectations, and my own self-doubt. I wanted to break free from the social pressure that told me, "you are not pretty enough, smart enough, or perfect enough." In the film, the mannequin is the only actress, and her eyes and outfits are being constantly manipulated by different hands against her will. Society’s judgmental nature is presented in the form of a mirror that stands in front of the mannequin. In the end, the mannequin draws her own eyes and breaks the mirror to symbolize her breaking free at last.
