This film is about transition and the beauty that lies within what is unknown and barely visible. Here it is an understanding told through light and movement. The film progresses from darkness with a motionless dancer to passionate movements in a radiant sunrise. This film is about how times of transition can represent our moments of deepest thought result in our more earnest provocations.
As a young Black filmmaker, Steele desires for his work to have the potential to illuminate ideas and understandings unique to that embodied knowledge and allow audiences an opportunity to witness and learn.
