About this submission

Self-care is always shown as being "comfortable" in most films. But the reality is that everybody knows it's the furthest thing from comfortable. If anything, it's one of the most un-comfortable and difficult things to do in life. Especially when your emotional limits are being tested, in the most extreme ways imaginable. I wrote this script during a period of grieving a friend's tragic loss, and wanted to express some of those ideas about the importance of self-care - but in the form of a psychological horror movie, set in one room with 2 characters: a therapist & her patient.
