About this submission
What do we do when dreams aren't ours, but parents' dreams?
What do we do when we're not allowed to dream and parents suggest that they're the ones in control?
Love is not a duty and neither a topic of discussion. If we live according to the wishes of the parents, we no longer have the opportunity to identify our own desires and we no longer have time to wonder who we truly are. The grades don't give value to a child and a warm hug of a parent should not be conditioned by an A.
We love you unconditionally.
