About this submission

In my associational experimental film, “The Hold," I wanted like to cover how being a different race or having ethnicity that is far from the dominant race, hold people of color back. This is cause by institutional racism that has built into America’s society. This society is not built for BIPOC to succeed. So this film reflects the reality of BIPOC. A lot of people don't under how institutional racism effects BIPOC, so this film is for those people and people that deals with institutional racism.
