My Magnum Opus short film felt like an 'Inception' knock off, falling apart in the editing room - I was truly a student filmmaker, aspiring for complexity but losing my fundamentals in the process. All joking aside, I became deeply saddened, and suddenly determined to reinvent my film. Over six months, I rearranged my puzzle, shot by shot, stripping everything that wasn't serving story. Characters were cut, lines were rewritten, and all dialogue dubbed over. I learned there's many ways to tell a story, but only one best way. I hope this tale is a testament to my dedication, enjoy!
