'Storyville' is an original music-infused historical drama based on the life of Lulu White, an infamous mixed-race madame that ruled New Orleans' red-light district in early 1900s New Orleans.

About the Author: Alejandro de los Rios is a Nicaraguan-born, half-Cuban, half-Venezuelan filmmaker based in New Orleans. Since 2009, Alejandro has written and directed short documentaries, commercials and music videos. He’s created content for Warner Brothers, MGM, A&E Networks, ESPN, McCann Erickson and Toshiba International. He was awarded "Best Editing" and "Best Sound Design" for his entry in the 2016 “48 Hour Film Fest.”

In 2017, he was named to the prestigious Emerging Voices Program hosted by the New Orleans Film Festival for his short film script ‘Contrabanda’. He then worked as a Video Producer for the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans where he wrote, directed and edited digital content including a 9-part documentary on Drew Brees and short features on New Orleans music and culture.
