During my first semester I embarked on an academic exploration of “what is a soul?” and found there is no universal answer: Soul extends beyond its cultural definition and is undefinable by nature. This short/video diary is my personal meditation on Soul. Having the fortunate circumstance of attending college where I grew up, I opted to discover the ways I’ve changed alongside my town, to define what I loved so much about Place. Visiting various “Soul landmarks” I reflected on and referenced the past. Ultimately, I sought to find meaning in physical spaces, but also in my own life.
