Standing along the Buffalo River is Silo City, a site that once used to manufacture much of the United States grain supply. Much like Buffalo, Silo City’s hay-day was in the early 1900’s, and as the century went on, it was slowly left behind. This short is through the eyes of Jim, the steward of Silo City, as well as owner Rick Smith and architect Jay Valgora. Jim loves the site as is, but Rick and Jay are ready to move it into the future.
Ali Walker is a senior at Ithaca College and will be receiving a degree in Cinema & Photography with a minor in Architecture.
