This is a scene from the screenplay Say Nothing, winner of 13 screenplay awards where the Italian cousin Gustavo arrives unannounced for holiday dinner in 1939 Little Italy, New York City. The story follows the Sereda family's struggles between their love of America during World War Two pitted against their familial bonds to their immigrant Italian heritage. This conflict is heightened when their cousin, Gustavo, is secretly arrested and interned in an American concentration camp in Maryland. Co-written with Letty Serra.
