A carer, who has been helping her terminally ill patients die, feels a powerful need to stop her brain tumour patient wanting to die as their father-daughter-like relationship transforms into a love affair.
Jeongeun Choi is a film writer and director based in London. Whilst studying at the London Film School, she wrote and directed various shorts, commissioned and funded by the Kodak UK, The National Gallery in London, Korean Film Council and Jeju Film Commission, premiering at Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2012, Underwire Film Festival 2012, Kustendorf Int. Film & Music Festival 2013 and Riga Int. Short Film Festival 2013, and receiving the 'Special Mention'. Her projects in developments include: THE GO-BETWEEN shortlisted for the BBC Writersroom 2018 and selected for PLOT Script Lab at IndieLisboa 2019 and Talent Lab at Reykjavík Int. Film Festival 2019; and DOGGERLAND selected for BFI NETWORK Project Lab 2018 (Writers), Directors UK Pitching Workshop at Glasgow Film Festival 2019 and Drama Pitching Lab 2019 at Int. Short Film Festival in Drama. Jeongeun is a member of the Directors UK and the Writers' Guild of Great Britain.
